Good evening everyone, and firstly let me congratulate you all on a fantastic election! Lot’s of celebrations to be had all round.

Following the resignations of /u/Lady_Aya as Commons Speaker and /u/Frost_Walker2017 as Devolved Speaker it is time to hold a joint election for these positions. I would firstly like to thank them for their hard work over the past several months. Part of being headmod is ensuring things are running smoothly, and Aya and Frosty have made that task extremely easy for me.

In order to run, candidates must submit a manifesto to me before the deadline of 10pm GMT on the 7th of March.

All candidates must be permitted to run by me. For the vast majority of sim members, this won't be an issue. If you want to double check, drop me a message on Discord @ elraymondo.

All candidates must be 18 or older.

No candidate can run for both offices - you can only submit one manifesto and be on the ballot for one position.

Now - the nomination period opens.

10pm GMT 7th March - nomination and manifesto deadline, separate Q&A threads shall be posted.

10pm GMT 11th March - voting opens, Q&A remains open.

10pm GMT 15th March - voting closes, results will be announced.
