Doha Development Round Motion 2016

This House Recognises

1. That the aims of the Doha round of World Trade Organisation negotiations would result in an increase in world income of up to $3 trillion.

2. That $2.5 trillion of that amount would be directed towards developed nations.

3. That the conclusion of the Doha round would be extremely valuable to global welfare.

This House Urges

1. That the Government begin attempts to restart the Doha round of negotiations.

This motion was written and submitted by /u/AlmightyWibble on behalf of the Labour Party.
