European Single Market Membership Motion
This House recognises that:
Over 200,000 UK Businesses trade with the EU
Over 4 million jobs rely on Single Market Membership.
£220 billion of our exports go into Europe.
Full Single Market membership is vital to our country's economic prospects.
This House wishes:
The Government make remaining a full member of the European Union’s Single market an absolute priority above all else in Article 50 negotiations.
Any exit deal that is negotiated is put before Parliament for discussion and a democratic vote.
This motion was submitted by the Right Honourable /u/JellyTom MP on behalf of the Liberal Democrats.
The voting period for this bill will end at 10PM BST on the 14th of October.
Vote Aye, No or Abstain. Comments with anything else will be deleted. Comments that are edited will be void and not counted.
