Reaffirmation of Sovereignty over Islet of Rockall, Isle of Mann and the Principality of Sealand Motion

This House recognises that:

1) The Islet of Rockall is a full part of both Scotland and the United Kingdom.

2) The Isle of Man is a Crown Dependency, with the United Kingdom responsible for defence and foreign affairs.

3) The Principality of Sealand is a offshore platform in British territorial waters.

This House encourages:

1) The government to take diplomatic measures to prevent another state declaring sovereignty over either Rockall or the Isle of Man.

2) Any attempt by a government other than that of the United Kingdom to claim sovereignty is an act of foreign aggression.

3) The government make adequate preparation for the defence of Rockall and the Isle of Man should diplomatic measures ever fail.

4) The government take action to secure the status of Sealand as a British territory.

What is more British than claiming largely uninhabited rocks hundreds of miles away from the UK. It is a Briton's duty to defend this right, and I hope this House can affirm as such.
