Evening everyone!

So, after a hiatus of well over a month with exams, elections and a near heart attack experience (just a bad tum it turns out, but don't ignore going from fine to serious chest pains, struggling to breath and going clammy in a matter of minutes chaps!) I am back!

First order(s) of business will be to get an election for Lords Speaker underway, following the resignation of /u/purpleslug. We also need to prepare the awards for MHoC's third anniversary, which have been delayed due to the aforementioned distractions.

Given my absence I will need to catch up on the goings on around here, so don't take the piss when I have literally no idea about something major because I really don't.

Lords Speaker Election

I will make a post imminently opening nominations for the role of Speaker of the House of Lords, also outlining a timetable.

Awards

I will also imminently be making a post asking for suggestions for awards, on top of those used ~6 months ago for the last ones. Following this, nominations for said awards will open and then voting, with (hopefully) some rewards for the winners!

If there is anything I have forgotten then I am sure you will be quick to tell me; it's good to be back!
