Fist-Aid management for DB mains

Greetings fellow Hunters!
As the name suggests, my question is towards seasoned DB mains. How do you manage your First-aid use? With the new DB upgrade I dusted off my old trusted DBs but I am hit with a heavy usage on them. Any advice on how to be less reliant on them?
Also with the bblos I event starting, is bblos db worth to craft? Is better than the blos db?
