This is an update to my progress since starting a new character on the 20th using greatsword valor winning the polls

My first thought was I was going to struggle and get wrecked on faster monsters.

I am happy to report I was wrong. This play through has been alot of fun and is making me even more excited about mh rise. (Best boy Arzuros)

I have been playing village and employing the hit and valor stance to hit more. It's a very different style than switch axe or sword and shield. But the best part? I am smiling and laughing

I'm glad each weapon is so different from each other that in essence you get multiple versions of the same game.

Maybe next when I finish I will walk the path of explosions via gunlance.

Currently doing village 7 hoping to get some up grades or figure out what the next goal should be armor wise.
