Your coins do not exist in your wallet | they live on the blockchain
Post Body

I have been seeing a lot of posts lately people asking can I transfer my coins/tokens to Nami, Ccvault etc. firstly, if you currently use Yoroi wallet, your coins do not live in YOROI, rather they live on the blockchain. The seed phrase that you got when creating the YOROI wallet can be used to restore the same wallet on Nami, CCVault, Gero, Typhon or any other shelly era wallet for that matter.

Consider this as a map with a key-value pair. Key being the unique tokenized value calculated from your seed phrase and value being the assets against that tokenized value. As long as you have the seed phrase, you have the key to restore your wallet.

If one has to chose separate wallets for separate activities i.e. dex, other defi, NFTs, its completely their call but if you wish to interact with multiple applications (vyFi, meld, jpg.store) using the same wallet, you may chose to restore your existing wallet in Nami/CCVault or any other shelly era wallet.
