Preface: I love looting. Love it. If I didn't already have a flair I'd want to be known as the loot king. That said:
War exhaustion.
I often find myself in extremely prolonged wars with high casualties due to my looting policy. Yeah, I'm tall as hell, but now I gotta wait 50 years to engage in my next war because my people are dropping dead in the streets from my 'taskmaster burn it to the ground' philosophy on wars.
So my question is: outside of the obvious (trimming back my loot policy), and hoping to get a strong siege general, does anyone have any outside of the box tips or suggestions for limiting the crippling impact of exhaustion from prolonged wars? Is there any way to make it decay quicker? What are the largest factors in exhaustion growth?
Thanks in advance for suggestions!
