old files reappearing even after deletion no longer being removed from cloud

As indicated by the title, I had deleted some however the files have reappeared in the cloud and are not unable to be removed. I've tried to relog, however it still shows up. This is on the computer browser. However if I go to the mobile app, it shows that the files are not there. While it isn't taking up storage space according to the usage stat, it still is disconcerting to see files that aren't supposed to be there still show up. Has anyone else had this issue before and how is this resolved?
