i took mdma (pills) orally countless times since 2020; i only recently gained access to crystal mdma. naturally, i was curious how it would feel to take it intranasally.

having read a lot of reports and comments about this route of administration, i was quite worried about how painful it would be. i asked about it the only person i knew irl who had snorted mdma, and they told me, rather unhelpfully, that they couldn't remember.

i had to REALLY psych myself up into doing that first line. i made it quite small and lined up my straw, heart beating with more nervousness than excitement, and i inhaled.

and... nothing. it didn't hurt. at all. i even wondered if it was mdma at all while i made another, bigger line. that too i snorted with ease. a few minutes later and sure enough, i started feeling that familiar roll.

sniffed it a few times since, and i'm doing so now again. the drip is worse than the "pain". mephedrone and meth are a lot more painful to snort.

are people just not crushing up their crystal fine enough? the way i do it is get bigger chunks of crystal into a baggie, crush that with a hard, blunt object until there's tiny little crystals; pour that on a plate, separate a small bit, and crush under a card until powdery; then, as a last measure, scrape up that powder with razor blade, and hack away with the blade until there's no more crunch, just a completely uniform white powder. doesn't hurt at all when i inhale that
