Hey everyone, had my first experience with MDMA last weekend and I can't lie I was a tad disappointed. All of my friends told me taking MDMA is one of the best experiences of your life; you'll feel amazing (bordering on overwhelmed), etc. etc. As it was my first time I was excited to get ripped, but overall I'd say the experience was rather calm and pleasant (instead of intense and ecstasy-filled).
The entire roll lasted for about 5 hours, and throughout the come-up and peak I felt a lot of good tingles and I could feel my muscles slightly chattering, but it was nothing compared to the pleasure I've felt from good LSD and psilocybin trips. It was mostly just a calm, serene, good feeling; stuff got a little wavy in my vision and I felt like hugging all the people I was rolling with. The highlight of the trip was smoking cigs on the comedown, each rip sent these awesome pleasure tingles throughout my entire body. But overall, I'm left a bit disappointed (again, I've had way more ecstasy-filled moments from other substances). The only thing I can think of is that I supplemented with magnesium beforehand and during the roll, but I can't find any evidence that would dull its effects.
So what gives? Did I just not dose high enough (I followed the 1.5mg per kg rule)? Is that sort of serene, nice happiness all that MDMA is cracked up to be? From the way people describe rolling, it can't be... I guess my end question is what can I do to ensure that my next roll three months from now lives up to my expectations?
Thanks :)
