Is there a way to identify the dosage or contents of these capsules?

I got these from a friend. When my friend asked the dosage of them to the guy he got them from, he said "280."

I don't know if that means they are each 280mg or that they are each 140mg and combined they are 280mg. (I assume a 140mg dosage would be way more common than 280mg though)

So is there any way to identify the dosage? Like if I weigh them on a scale, should that be fairly accurate for the amount of MDMA in them?

I assume it's basically impossible to verify the contents since you need a lot more to do a reagent test.
