This weekend my GF (50) and I (44) went to Mysteryland. Not only was it her first time at an EDM festival, it was also the first time for her to try XTC. For me it was only my second time, with my first time just a few months ago.

She was pretty anxious about it (not scared, just nervous). I was only a bit anxious about her, not myself. Boy was that unwarranted.

It was one of the best days of our entire 14-year relationship. It was absolutely amazing. The festival was obviously top notch, but the vibes in our group (8 people, all on X) was amazing, the vibes at the festival were amazing (it looked like 90% or so was on something other than alcohol), and it deepened our relationship so much!

We both felt absolutely great the day after. Tired of course (we're not the youngest anymore), but way better than when we drink. And it's the Tuesday after now as well, and we don't feel any negative effects.

Our next party planned is in Oct, can't wait :)

Only negative; I don't have a lot of troubles with jaw-clenching. But there aren't a lot of pictures of her that I can show the family, even though we got a lot of extra magnesium in our system the days before :D
