Can smoking weed daily prevent feeling the MDMA efects?

So both me and a friend recently took 100mg MDMA. We both weigh basically the same (75kg). I had a nice roll, whereas she didn't feel absolutely anything. She does smoke weed daily, could this be the cause? If not, what do you think happened?
