Hey all, posting on a throwaway as some people know my reddit that don't need to hear all this :))

So I've VERY recently started taking 25mg Sertraline, the normal starting dose is 50 but my doctor wanted me to start slow to monitor side effects. I started on Saturday, but I was planning to take MDMA on Friday. I was gonna source 2 100mg caps, as I usually will do at an event to spread it over the night.

However, I'm not very familiar with how SSRIs and MDMA clash, particularly if it's still early days of taking the SSRI. Considering MDMA causes greater release, and the SSRI stops the reuptake, I was worried it could cause the serotonin levels to just stay too high.

I hear that SSRI users usually end up feeling MDMA less which I believe is due to the receptor regulation and tolerance to serotonin, but I might not have that tolerance yet.

My main thoughts are should I stop taking it for a couple days before, or is it a small enough dose to not be dangerous? I've done MDMA several times in the past and never had issues, with 200mg being the last dose I had and I felt fine. Just wondering if anyone happens to have been in a situation where they took MDMA in the early days of being put on an SSRI rather than long term use.
