MDMA + SSRIs

I read a bunch of things about taking a low-dose of an SSRI at the come down to help ease the serotonin crash. The SSRI that I happen to have on hand here is Effexor in 37.5 mg extended release pills. I have never taken it, or any SSRI, before.

Would one pill of these be appropriate? I wasn't sure about the extended release part, and I also know that 37.5 mg is half of the usual recommended dose.

And what's the appropriate time to take the SSRI after my last dose of MDMA? I read 6 hours in one place and just a few hours and another place…
