It's a slightly different post and might be a bit cringy. I want to know if your opinion if my theory is correct.

Almost a year ago, I started dating a guy. After a few nice dates, he offered to go to a club with him and at the club he gave me my first pill. I actually didn't know what to expect and I didn't care that much. That night was truly amazing; I was dancing like crazy, I loved everyone, and I had a really lovely time with the guy.

Next week we went to a club again, again I took a pill, again we had an amazing time. Next week again and again. (I didn't know I needed to make breaks in between the rolls, and I was stupid but in love).

Apart from the clubs and mdma, we were meeting during the week for small and cute dates etc., We even had a short and romantic trip abroad. Somehow everything was progressing very quickly. At the club, we used to dance together, chill together and it seemed that we had the best lovely time ever.

After 2-2.5 months of dating him, I decided that we needed to go our separate ways due to some personality mismatch. We had our last meeting, I explained everything and I just cut him off completely without any "transition" phase. I never responded to his last message, I muted him everywhere, so I cannot see his socials etc.

It's been almost a year since we met and I cannot forget him. Everyday I think about the great time we had and even regret ending everything so spontaneously. I try to date other people and try to forget him but am unsuccessfully (maybe unconsciously I am blocking others).

And now the main question: I have known a person only for a few months, and I cannot forget him for a year (very unusual for me), can it be that because of MDMA that we used to use so frequently in the romantic/lovely setting, I developed stronger feelings than usual in a very short time? And the most important question: what if he feels the same and cannot forget me?

What are your thoughts on this?
