Post Body

In October of 2022, I took MDMA while I was on my Effexor prescription. I tweaked hard, did not talk, and felt out of my body for hours. The next day I had nearly twenty seizures and literally could not speak words. I didn’t seek any medical attention after, though I know now I should’ve. Now, I can’t drink without having an adverse reaction, and it's very frustrating. I also can’t do weed without severe hallucinations. I’m only 20 years old in college, so I miss out on a lot of fun opportunities. I also feel that I experienced some sort of brain damage, due to my terrible memory and cognitive functioning. I have severe brain fog and am extremely sensitive to any altering substance. My brain legit feels different, it’s hard to explain but I am for sure a different person, not in a good way.  I’m slowly accepting I will probably never be able to drink again and forever will not be the same person.

Is this possible to recover from or am I most likely to deal with this brain-damage long term?
