Doing ecstasy tomorrow and need some advice

It will be my first time . I plan on taking at about 12pm then going home at 4pm (will be in town with a mate) and then I will get the bus home, will I be able to function alone getting the bus in the dark?
I also considered taking the pill at home instead and having a chill time to myself since it will get dark. Is this a better idea?
