Does being tipsy dull the roll?

Usually always have 4-6 drinks over a few hours before dropping, gets me in a good mood. Iām never drunk and usually sobering up before I take the M.
People seem to say alcohol dulls the roll but is this the case even if one is nearly sober but can still feel the alcohol effects a bit? I saw a study that actually said alcohol and mdma potentate each other?

Makes it stronger for me. The danger is that you can easily over drink on MDMA, not that it dulls the roll.
