Difference between MDA and MDMA?

This two compounds seems similar a lot but what are their main differences in terms of dosage, effect and neurotoxicity?
Is it ok to use MDA between two separate session of MDMA?
MDMA is used not only for recreational purposes but also for therapeutic activities while MDA is only for a recreational use?
Please, if you have ever used both let me know the difference in the feelings during the trip!
