What do you use to host your vanilla Minecraft servers?

I’ve been out of the server creating community for about 4 years. I am just curious on what some of the most reliable and reasonably priced server hosting options are. I am looking to create a server for some friends so I don’t need anything too crazy, but I also want a host that will allow me to upgrade if I get too many players. Thanks
