Gotta remember it's our own dip in performance around Xmas that made us reliant on other teams in the first place.
That's mostly behind us now, but importantly we find ourselves at this point 'early', while still getting to cheer on Newcastle's success — their game might well have ended up being points-critical, but now it can be a bonus stumbling block for Arsenal, ideally making our Goal Difference irrelevant.
Newcastle have every incentive to go all-out for a UCL place after all!
