This is list compiled after talking to students studying across Russia pursuing MBBS pursuing basically pros exceed the cons.

Let us begin with the PROS first.

PROS

Affordable fee structure

Tuition fee is cost effective and so is the living cost. Unlike the private medical colleges in India you need not spend crores of rupees here for education.

Also, with the new implementation of National Exit Test, it does not matter whether you study MBBS from India or Russia or anywhere in the world, you should only take NExT in order to practice in India as a licensed doctor.

Hospitable Environment

There’s no doubt India and Russia share good political relations with each other so from my experience, the Russians are very hospitable towards us i.e. the Indians. Also, staying in Russia proffers you an opportunity to explore a new culture and you are definitely going to love it.

Good Quality of education

Across most university you will find very high quality of education especially when compared to Indian Universities, perhaps in one of our next post we will go over those specific differences.

CONS

Low Patient In flow

The patient flow is below average so even though there’s good medical exposure, you will somewhere feel a slight absence of a practical exposure. Anyway, it will be covered up once you return to India and participate in internships there.

Climate

Some regions of Russia are very cold though.

Language Be prepared to study Russian for 1 year.

Overall most students find Russia much better option than Indian private universities.
