A long time family friend is moving in a nursing facility for alzheimers and his wife is looking to get rid of his hunting rifle collection. I know it has to be done through an ffl in both states (I have both lined up already).
I haven't seen the collection yet but I believe it is all hunting rifles or shotguns, no handguns or anything else. Are there restrictions other than the mag limit? I have read through the faq here and on the goal website but didn't see anything definitive and to be honest, this is above my knowledge level. My ri ffl just said to get one that is ma compliant, which doesn't help me much haha.
Thanks for all the help and information thus far, this is a great subreddit to be a part of.
