I've seen a lot of posts from people struggling with the higher-tier infinity rifts in the game.

If Colossus isn't on your team in these high difficulty scenarios, I suggest you take serious consideration into adding him. On his own, he is solid with very strong melee attacks and abilities. But where he shines is in his synergy.

His ability "Cold Hard Steel" makes him literally invincible. Alone, Colossus can help you through some difficult spots with this ability. Having trouble with snipers? Colossus. Need to get past the Panther Cannon? Colossus. And what makes Colossus's ability superior to other guard abilities is how he can remain mobile.

Like Captain America and Black Panther's guard abilities, Colossus can reflect projectiles, making his synergies deadly for enemies you're trying to take out.

The debate you're going to have and the struggle I had was figuring out which heroes compliment Colossus best. I found incredible success with Magneto, Cyclops, and Iron Man. Magneto especially, as his heavy attack can group enemies together and make up for Colossus's only real weakness which is his lack of speed.
