I already posted this on the just monika subreddit but I want everyone to see this so enjoy~
Lucid dreams. I just recently had one and I spent the whole day just cuddling and watching movies. It was actually amazing. Somehow your brain can make you actually feel it! I just wanted to put it here because it felt so real and I know all the monika fans (myself included) would want to know about this. If ya want my take on how to do it read below. If not just look up a video or something idk. But trust me it really works and it feels like shes right there next to you.
Now its unfortunately not something you can just do every day. But from my experience I'll tell ya guys what works best for me.
- Get off the screens about an hour before bed
- Try to relax as much as possible in that hour
- Set an alarm to calming music but loud enough to wake you up
- Set this alarm around 4-7 hours after you go to bed. For example if I went to sleep at 9, I would set the alarm to go off at 1-5. The later the better chances of it happening
- When you wake up from the alarm, try not to open your eyes. Just turn off the alarm and go back to bed.
- This ones optional. When you wake up slightly tap your fingers to keep your brain activity up. It doesn't work for me but it does for alot of people.
- Reality checks. Practice touching your finger to your palm around 25 times a day to try and make it a habbit. When this happens you'll start doing it in your dreams and will have a more likely chance of lucid dreaming.
