I might be one of the last handful of Americans to carry and use an M14 in combat.
Carried an M110 SASS until it broke and then lugged around the EBR when an M4 and 320 wasn’t a good fit.
Shot 1.5 MOA at furthest engaged area targets at 1,500M with plunging fire into mountaintop fighting positions.
I hated it because it was heavy, but I never had a malfunction and I think I’ll put together a modern DMR soon.
