Where to find adjusted cost basis numbers for tax purposes?
Post Body

Hello All, I am trying to finish up my tax return for this year but TurboTax is asking for an "adjusted cost basis" for some of the transactions from my 1099-B form. It says that there should be a supplement form that will have the adjusted cost basis. This happens after I put in 0 for cost basis, which is what my 1099-B form from M1 finance contains. Please see the image attached below for reference.

Do you guys know where I can find this adjusted cost basis information?

Thanks!

EDIT: TurboTax people said it was probably because the automatic import saw the 0.0 cost basis as an error and didn't let me finish taxes. After inputting the information by hand, the errors were gone and I was able to file taxes. LOL
