Arch angel stock fitment

I recently acquired this Arch angel stock to put my M1a in but I have some fitment issues. The guy I got it from said I would have to adjust the body but I can’t figure this out.
The pics show the areas I’m having problems in. The receiver doesn’t go all the way in, and the trigger group isn’t able to either.
Any tips for these?
