This is a ballad with a twist, I made for a bard character I am creating (yes I am a proud nerd). But do tell what you think and maybe help me with an idea for a more uplifting song!
Verse 1
There onces was a woman, named Betty Loged. She lived in a forrest with ravens and cats. No one would aprouch her. No one that would smile. They treat her with distance and looks that where foul.
Verse 2
And Betty Loged, she felt so alone. The tears that she wept. The nights that she roamed. No warmth of a human. no words that gave rest. And nothing to fill that holl in her chest.
Verse 3
And Betty Loged, she wasn't a witch. She wasn't a cheat, and certain no bitch! But nobody knew her. And nobody cared. They looked just right through her. Like she wasn't there.
Verse 4
And as the years gained. the people moved on. No husband, no friends No daughter, no son! She kept all her beauty. And stayed all the same. Time stopped long ago, forever in pain.
Last verse 5, slowdown at the end.
There once was a woman, named Betty Loged. She lived in a forrest with ravens and cats. A man had aprouched her. He caried a knife. He stole all her money. And taken her life.
