Hello. I'd like to move to Lyon or somewhere close to it for work.

I'm a non-EU citizen that is currently resident in Italy. I'm inot the field of robotics, control, AI and my French is conversational at best. I am sure that it will improve dramatically if I actually move and live in France but for the moment, I will have to approach the whole thing as someone who is only comfortable in English.

The question is: is there hope for me to find a job in Lyon without being fluent in French? And what is the best way to apply for jobs? LinkedIn or is there any other platforms more used in France?

Any advices in my search would be appreciated here, I am just a little bit confused of what to do and how hopeful I should be.
