Is this still Lyme Disease?

This is honestly my first reddit post but I’ve been lurking for years! This might be long so I apologize but I just want to be thorough. Quarantine seems to have made everything somewhat worse and I decided I needed to talk to some other people who maybe experienced what I have! I was diagnosed with Lyme disease last August after experiencing months of SEVERE hip pain and somewhat severe knee pain. I was also experiencing some other symptoms that were less obvious, exhaustion/fatigue, brain fog, etc. I was put on antibiotics twice a day for 28 days, which resulted in my occasionally throwing up if I didn’t eat a huge meal in the morning before taking it. My hip pain never went away, and at times, even got worse! Usually the days when my hip pain was worse, my knee pain got worse too. I am 19 and in college and walking to my classes everyday was torture! I always felt ridiculous hanging with my friends when I could walk, run, hike, or do anything adventurous for long periods of time... and I never want to be the person who brings up their pain all the time. My hip pain is always intense when I lay on my sides (especially the left hip) so I can only lay on my back or stomach. I went to a doctor who specializes in pediatric arthritis and other auto immune diseases and she said I was fine and that the lyme should be gone after taking the antibiotics! Yet so many people in my life tell me it never goes away, and I’m still experiencing the same symptoms. It seems like it comes in waves but never full goes away. I’m just not sure what to believe and if this could still be the lyme disease! Most things I read don’t say anything about hip pain in specific, but that’s been my main symptom all along so its a little confusing. If any of you have had similar experiences I would love to hear them!

Additionally: I NEVER saw a tick on me at any point!!! I experienced a lot of weird body symptoms up to a few years before I went to the doctor for the intense hip pain, and I was also sick about 3-4 months before I went to the doctor too, so I could’ve got infected at any point really.

Other symptoms that may or may not be related: exhaustion all the time, frequent GI/stomach issues, feeling like I’m in a daze, dizzy/lightheaded feeling frequently, and probably some more that I can’t think of right now.
