Like many on here, I got Lyme as a child many years ago.. like 30 years. It wasn't treated properly, forgotten, and has crept up over the years.

In hindsight, there's a lot of things that I experienced growing up with an "unknown illness".

One thing I am wondering, could brain swelling be caused by Lyme? I had a few serious head injuries as a kid.. and adult... but in my preteen years there was a time period where my head was huge.

It was so big, that I couldn't wear hats.. even one size fits all hats, they just wouldn't fit on my head. My t-shirts wouldn't fit over my head and had to be cut at the neckline.. or I had to wear shirts 2 sizes too big for my body. It started a thing where I would only wear tank tops. It was around the time those "big head" sports posters came out and ended up earning me the nickname of big head...

I don't remember how long it lasted, but the size of my head has since returned to "normal".

Is it possible or likely that my big head phase was caused by Lyme?
