I’m sick and tired of being charged extra because Lyft drivers start the timer before they get to me. I’m in Manhattan and these Lyft drivers start the wait timer, then take forever to get to me because of the traffic. Sometimes the timer almost runs out before I can even find the car, and I have to pay a fee for them “waiting”. Why are Lyft drivers able to start a trip before they’re even at your location?
