I have over 300 rides with lyft as I travel for a living. Never in my life have I seen anything like I seen last night on my way home from the airport.
Upon arrival I notice a handmade note taped to the rear door passenger window that says "Driver does NOT assist with luggage". Okay, fine, I'll do it myself.
But get this, upon getting into the car, I see crude handmade signs taped to the back of the front passenger seat (they used electrical tape) signs that read "Don't be a donkey. Tip your driver." and "for tips over $20 cashapp me" etc
Let me get this straight, you're brow beating me for tips and not doing a damn thing extra worth tipping??
Not too mention, your dim headlights, and the aggressive driving in the fog and slushy roads, and your semi-jokey comments about "low visibility, I hope we make it.." had me nervous all the way home. And then you drove the wrong way on a one way street to top it off
Okay. I'll tip you. Two cents, and reported to lyft
I take cash tips but I have a tactful way of getting tipped lol “I’m not like other drivers who ask for tips, however I do take cash but you can always do something in the app” lol but I only do this when they ask me to stop and it wasn’t in the app. And ALWAYS help with luggage, groceries, whatever! And I flirt with both men and women lol 😂 funny how many straight men love being flirted with by a guy because those are generally the huge tips! lol
