How do you guys feel about drinks in your car?

I had a rider who one appeared drunk and he wanted to bring his drink with him. I had someone spill a drink in my car already so I refrain from open drinks. If they are a close cup I don’t mind. The rider got mad that didn’t allow alcoholic drinks in the car. How do you guys handle drinks??
