The last time I used Lyft, I had to go into a major city of a work event, (trip is paid by work.) and the driver was perfectly fine starting off. I kept an eye on the time and the app once it got close to my destination.
I don't know why, but I realized that my driver literally passes the exit on the freeway to my destination and then I have to prod (verbally) the driver to get off at the next exit. They pass three more, before finally getting off, and getting back onto the freeway and getting off at the right exit. I did pick up my voice as I would rather not be held hostage on someone's car, and it did take another 10 minutes to get there. (I was still early but still.)
It was just weird, all of the past rides I've taken this was never a problem. What was the driver thinking even? Was the driver trying to do something? I honestly have no idea. What do you all think here?
