Been using lyft premium for over 2 years now, Iâm trying to get home from work and I texted 3 drivers before they arrived Kindly asking them not to cancel, all of them did⌠why would you cancel when you are less than a minute away, my destination is only 15 minute drive from me so I donât understand.
Lyft does lie to passengers about drivers canceling FYI. Priority rides take precedence and I know this for 100% fact. I was diverted from picking up a regular for a lesser $ fare and still got the regular and I asked him what it said and he said the system told him I cancelled which was a 100% deliberate lie by the system.
Text me or call me and I cancel! Why would you distract someone driving especially since they may have someone else in the car with them!? Auto cancel and unmatch if possible and if I feel desperate enough to pick you up, I will definitely unmatch future rides with you! (Unless there is a very seriously handsome tip attached which has NEVER happened with those who felt the need to suddenly become my boss!!). Nope, find another service! Drivers do NOT want you as passengers. Same thing goes for those who add stops after the driver has accepted the ride!! We accept the ride for what weâre sent, not what the passenger decides to change because theyâre afraid the driver wonât accept it!! Find a taxi or a limousine! Bye now! Reading your idiotic post has raised my blood pressure!!! Youâre apparently one of the âentitledâ generation!!

Youâre not a driver. Thatâs obvious.
