Question about pick-up time

Quick question. I have never used Lyft or that other one before. I set up an account and set a pick-up for 4:45am for a ride to the airport for a 6am flight. (small airport, timing is fine)
My question is when will Lyft assign the ride, or if they do not find anyone for that time, when will they tell me? I have the text saying when they have the drivers details, they will let me know.
I just don't want to wake up at 4am and see a text saying I am SoL!
