Preview thumbnail for Tinted nitro over clear? Can’t tell from the pic, but the face is a little lighter than the rest of neck. Had to sand face to bare, restain then spray. There’s 3 coats of clear over the new tint, but want to spray 1 or 2 more… ok to do over clear? Should I sand it back? image

Preview thumbnail for Expert opinion needed. Is this bone nut salvageable? For the 3rd string slot (.024”) I realized it was off by half a mm. I took a larger file to even out the surface to start a new slot, but went a hair too deep. Plastic nut with correct slot heights underneath in 3rd pic for reference. image
