Hi everyone, I’m not sure this is the proper subreddit for this post, but it seems like it could be.

Does anyone have any experience working with Patrick Sims of Sims Custom Shop? I sent a guitar off to him for some work back in February and I’ve since been ghosted. I’ve messaged him multiple times and he’s given me zero response. I find it interesting considering before he received my guitar, he was QUICK to respond. Unfortunately, I didn’t see negative reviews about him until after I sent the guitar off. I’m unsure why I didn’t see negative comments beforehand, but we’re past that point now and it won’t do me any good to dwell on those negative reviews.

I’m in a tough position because he has my guitar. I don’t want to rush him because I don’t want to get a poor final product back so he can say “it’s done. Happy?” But not having any response is getting frustrating after almost 7 months. Even a simple “haven’t had a chance to start yet. Have lots of guitars before yours” would be preferable. I’m a pretty patient person and have lots of other guitars at my disposal, but I’m just seeing what other’s experiences have been before getting more intense about the situation.
