Hi everyone, Iām not sure this is the proper subreddit for this post, but it seems like it could be.
Does anyone have any experience working with Patrick Sims of Sims Custom Shop? I sent a guitar off to him for some work back in February and Iāve since been ghosted. Iāve messaged him multiple times and heās given me zero response. I find it interesting considering before he received my guitar, he was QUICK to respond. Unfortunately, I didnāt see negative reviews about him until after I sent the guitar off. Iām unsure why I didnāt see negative comments beforehand, but weāre past that point now and it wonāt do me any good to dwell on those negative reviews.
Iām in a tough position because he has my guitar. I donāt want to rush him because I donāt want to get a poor final product back so he can say āitās done. Happy?ā But not having any response is getting frustrating after almost 7 months. Even a simple āhavenāt had a chance to start yet. Have lots of guitars before yoursā would be preferable. Iām a pretty patient person and have lots of other guitars at my disposal, but Iām just seeing what otherās experiences have been before getting more intense about the situation.
