Input Jack Shorting Against Cavity Sheilding
Post Body

• When the cable is fully inserted, nada. • certain angles (rotations) of the jack work with cable inserted • the jack removed from the cavity and floating in mid air works • the cable half plugged in works

What is going in with the cavity shielding?

Edit: if anyone else encounters this issue, heres my cheap fix. I took a little plastic bag for screws, turned it into a tube (with scissors), and ran it around the input jack to create a barrier between the copper shielding and the jack.
