1st post for me! I work in a custom shop guitar factory. Last year, me and the boss took on a passion project and set out to build the most accurate replica’s of Eddie’s Fankenstrat. We built one each, and everything we sourced for the build is as era accurate as possible. Correct hardware/timbers, aged parts etc… it was a challenge because there’s wear between the different colours as Eddie played it and modded it since 1971, which we meticulously recreated with scalpels/blades, and using around 2500 photos. These shots aren’t great because of the light, but you get the idea. All of this was done by hand. What do you think?
