Need help with Active Bass Wiring
Post Body

Hi all, I'm having an issue with a bass I just finished where the battery is draining within two days of installing a new one. Everything I've seen online just puts the issue down to the jack but I have replaced and tested multiple stereo jacks and wired them exactly as the diagrams show. What I really need to know is ho to test other parts of the circuit to find out where the charge is going. I can see that there is voltage flowing from the ring connector of the jack (connected to the battery negative) to the ground which I can't get my head around as surely that would mean the battery positive is going to ground somewhere?

Anyway, sorry for the wall of text. For context, the preamp is an artec se3 (cheap I kno but I just needed something to get the bass running) Thanks in Advance
