Does the cold effect bath bombs?

I've noticed this recently since I've bought bath bombs from the Christmas range and a few non seasonal one's. I keep them I'm my top drawer in bedroom like I always have, most aren't in their brown paper bag and are loose in the drawer like I've had before. But this time I've noticed the colour is fading quicker and I've had some sink to the bottom of tub. It's been very cold in the UK lately, could this be effecting where I've got my bath bombs kept and there performance?
