Cross Chill vs Down For It All Jackets

Post Body

Having trouble choosing between the cross chill and the hooodless down for it all jackets. Wife got me a fleece sojourn for Christmas but I’ve been in the market for a water resistant exterior similar to a Patagonia nano puff so I’m gonna exchange and pay the difference.

Neither is available in large and bone in store. I tried on a down for it all in medium and I liked the feel of it. Any thoughts on either and/or both? Reviews on the website don’t exactly seem trustworthy.

I should add I’m in NC and this will be an everyday use jacket, probably never going to run in it. It’s never cold enough here for that, a base layer and 1/4 zip is at max all I need to run in.

TIA.
