Anyone else uses tools to control dream aspects?

In various dreams I have used different tools to make the control of the dream easier. I use my phone in my dream and ask commands to change something specific in example "Google make it night time" "please takee home" So in my dream it would do small things for me . Other times I can use doors and say where I want to go before opening it.
