How close was I?
Post Body

Well this happened a couple of nights ago but first let me tell you my routine.

When ever I go to bed I visualize a door in the middle of a field now this door is always closed and it stays that way and I can't open it until I finally fall asleep and even then I never see it open. Now I've been trying for months get into lucid dreaming and the closest came to it (And I don't think this can count as a lucid experience) was 2 months ago when I realized I was dreaming and right after I realized it, I turn around and a women suddenly spreads her legs and I wake up shocked at what just happened.

Anyways a couple of nights ago I'm in the field standing in front of the door and usually if I stay focused for a long amount of time while I start to see colors slowly moving and shifting, and sometimes folding in on themselves. But this time I actually saw the door open so I walk though it now at this point my body was going numb and I could not feel my fingers and my arms now before my eyes I start to see lights so right now I'm deciding if I should open my eyes or wait a little longer before I do so, I decided to open them which in turn woke me up and I could not move my arms for awhile.

TLDR: I have no clue how close I was or if I was doing the WILD method correctly or if I as doing it at all.
